Scope of Projects

The projects for Fireship Press / Cortero Publishing, a respected boutique publisher highly specializing in the realms of Historical Fiction and Non-Fiction, included a comprehensive range of all crucial aspects of the publishing process. These stages encompassed meticulous editing, innovative cover design and creation using either carefully selected stock photography or an image thoughtfully provided by the author. Additionally, the services extended to encompass detailed interior layout, effective social media marketing strategies, and the systematic uploads to various printers such as LSI, Lightning Source, and Ingram. Furthermore, the process included the creation of ebooks and their subsequent upload to a diverse array of ebook booksellers, including KDP, Barnes and Noble, Kobo, iTunes, and Google Books. The responsibilities also involved accurate royalty calculations and other assorted publishing duties, which continued diligently until the unfortunate passing of the owner, leading to the business's closure in 2024.

Below are a few examples of my work for Fireship Press.

I've had the pleasure of working Ms. Cook for several years with my debut work, The Greater Good. She was an invaluable source of feedback during the editing phase of my manuscript. Her scrupulous attention to detail made the book much better. Also, her striking cover design truly captured the essence of the book.

In addition, transitioning my book to KDP was an easy and smooth process. I will certainly avail myself of her talents for my next work.

Highly recommended for all your publishing needs.
